Super Stretton!

Seven months into the campaign, and four times now a single player has scooped both awards. Brad Stretton is the latest, claiming the Player of the Month award after a string of match-defining performances. He bagged one goal, two assists and was just an all round threat to the opposition.

And it is Brad’s winner against Bishop’s Stortford that wins the Goal of the Month award. Working the space against the defender, he shifts the ball to his right foot. The strike does take a wicked deflection, leaving the goalkeeper helpless, but they say in football that you make your own luck.
